Hon. Isaac Akintola Celebrates Political Mentor, Hails his Quality Representation and Human Empowerment

Hon. Isaac Akintola felicitated his political mentor and boss, Hon. Festus Adefiranye, on the occasion of his birthday, describes him as a leader whose impact extends beyond politics into the lives and aspirations of the people. In a congratulatory message, Hon. Akintola celebrated Adefiranye for his exemplary leadership, quality representation, and unwavering commitment to human empowerment.

According to Hon. Akintola, his mentor’s record in public service demonstrates that true leadership is not measured by the title one carries but by the lives one touches. He applauded Adefiranye’s interventions in infrastructure, education, healthcare and, particularly, his investment in people through empowerment programmes for youths, women, farmers and students. He noted that opportunities created for young people, employment facilitation and initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods have given many constituents renewed hope and a stronger sense of belonging.

Hon. Akintola further described Adefiranye as a leader who understands that “the greatest legacy a leader can leave is not what he builds with his hands, but what he builds in the lives of others.” He expressed gratitude for the mentorship, guidance and political tutelage he has received from his boss, stressing that Adefiranye’s leadership has continued to inspire younger politicians to see public service as a responsibility rather than a privilege.

While wishing his mentor more fruitful years, good health, and greater accomplishments, Hon. Akintola prayed that God would continue to grant Hon. Adefiranye wisdom and strength to serve his people. “A good mentor lights the path for others to walk; a great mentor makes sure they can also light the path for those coming behind,” he said, celebrating Adefiranye not only as a political principal but as a mentor whose influence continues to shape lives.

The birthday celebration, he added, is therefore not merely a celebration of age but an opportunity to honor a life of service, mentorship, quality representation, and human empowerment.
