The Chairman of Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government, Hon. Adebare Adeboye, has been celebrated for his transformative leadership, with Prince. Owolade Bartholomew Kayode (Bato) affirming that his tenure has delivered visible and lasting changes to the grassroots.
Prince Kayode pointed to the rehabilitation of Obada Market in Okeigbo as a landmark achievement. The project included the construction of 13 modern lock-up shops, the rebuilding of more than 200 open stalls, and the drilling of a borehole to provide clean water. Solar-powered lights were also installed, extending trading hours and improving safety for traders and customers.“These are not just projects,” Kayode said. “They are lifelines for our traders and families, ensuring economic empowerment and better living conditions.
He also celebrated Adeboye’s investment in security enhancement, which saw CCTV cameras strategically installed across major streets in Ile-Oluji and Okeigbo. The initiative has strengthened surveillance, supported law enforcement, and boosted public confidence in safety.“This is leadership that plans ahead,” Kayode remarked. “Residents now feel safer, and businesses can thrive with confidence.”
Prince Kayode emphasized that Adeboye has redefined grassroots governance by merging practical development with smart solutions.
