The Oluoke of Okeigbo Kingdom has formally announced the appointment of four distinguished individuals as Chiefs, a development that marks a new chapter in the traditional leadership of the community. The announcement was made through an official public notice issued from the Oluoke Palace, underscoring the importance of unity, respect, and cooperation as these leaders assume their new responsibilities.
The newly appointed Chiefs are Chief Fashina Ogunjimi, who now holds the title of Adifa Oba Oluoke; Chief Mrs. Ojuolape Stella Mayowa, appointed as Iya Loja of Okeigbo Kingdom; Chief Omotayo Olatinsu, who becomes the Pakoyi of Okeigbo Kingdom; and Chief Mudashiru Akintomide, named the Akogun of Okeigbo Kingdom.
The Palace, represented by Chief (Hon.) Folagbade Gbemibade, Ikolaba of Okeigbo Kingdom, congratulated the appointees and called on the entire community to accord them the full recognition and respect due to their offices in line with the customs and traditions of Okeigbo. The appointments are seen as a reinforcement of the Kingdom’s cultural heritage and a step toward strengthening its leadership structure.
